Tony Cascarino insists Arsenal will not miss Laurent Koscielny if he leaves this summer.
The Gunners captain has refused to travel with Unai Emery’s squad for the club’s pre-season tour of America.
Koscielny, who joined Arsenal in a £9.7million deal from Lorient in 2010, is believed to be pushing for a return to France.
In a brief statement, Arsenal said they were ‘very disappointed’ by the 33-year-old’s actions.
“If I’m brutally honest, the amount of times I’ve seen headed goals in his position where he has conceded with Koscielny not doing his job.
“I know he’s had a bad [Achilles] injury, I’m aware of that, but I think he’s also been one of their problems that has got away with it.
