Manchester United have released their new away kit for the 2019/20 season.
Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic and Manchester United Women’s captain Alex Greenwood have been modelling the new gold strip.
The classy Adidas kit is inspired by the streets of Manchester’s creative district, the Northern Quarter.
The gold shirt is complimented by a secondary black colour that embellishes the three Adidas stripes on the shoulders.
It could have been a surprise for some United fans to see Pogba modelling the shirt after admitting ‘it could be time for a new challenge’ amid interest from Real Madrid and Juventus.
Despite his desire to leave, the France star has travelled with the United squad on their pre-season tour of Australia.
He could play in the club’s opening friendly against Perth Glory on Saturday where United will wear their new away kit.
Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer leaped to the defence of Pogba in a press conference earlier this week.
