A team of talkSPORT experts have offered insight, numbers have been crunched and one player will be revealed every working day – with the winner of talkSPORT’s Premier League Power Rankings announced on Friday, August 9, before Liverpool kick-off the new season against Norwich City.

15: Christian Eriksen – Tottenham

The Danish playmaker is one of  the classiest players in the Premier League.

A stylish passer with wonderful technique who always seems one step ahead of those around him, and a dead-ball specialist with an eye for goal, it’s little wonder that Eriksen has courted the interest of Real Madrid.

Eriksen has been outstanding for Spurs since arriving from Ajax in 2013

In 35 Premier League appearances last season, Eriksen netted eight times and created a further 12 goals. He also played a crucial part in Tottenham’s run to the Champions League final, which ended in heartbreak at the hands of domestic rivals Liverpool.

At 27 and with just one year left on his Tottenham contract, the Ajax academy product has admitted he could be up for a new challenge.

But with Real’s interest as yet failing to materialising into a concrete offer it looks likely he will stay at Spurs for one more season at least – not only good news for the north London club but the Premier League to.

Number 16: Andy Robertson

Number 17: Trent Alexander-Arnold

Number 18: James Maddison

Number 19: Luka Milivojevic

Number 20: Jack Grealish

A new player will be revealed every day on talkSPORT’s social media accounts with the full verdict from our panel of experts over on talkSPORT.com. Tune in for more debate on our selections on Drive from 4pm.
